Touched by Grace, We Live Differently

Welcome to EPC!

You Belong Here | Loving God by Loving People

This Fall at EPC

Welcome to Elmhurst Presbyterian Church

We are a church called by Jesus Christ to proclaim good news, teach with grace, serve with justice, and embody inclusive love for all creation.

Matthew 25 Church

God calls us to protect the most vulnerable among us and to provide tangible help to those who are called “the least of these” in Matthew 25.

We Are a Welcoming Church

God is calling us to share the good news that all are created in the image of God (imago dei) and that all are welcome to our communion table, baptismal font, and life, ministry and mission

Earth Care

God calls us to be good stewards of the earth and to protect it for future generations. God is calling us to pave the way in this in our own congregation/community.

Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace

Like a tree planted by streams of water (Psalm 1), our life together is rooted in God’s grace and grows through our generosity.

This fall, Elmhurst Presbyterian Church is entering a season of generosity. Together, we’ll nurture our Generosity Tree in the Nelson/White Room.

On September 7, we will plant the roots with our names and prayers, showing we are grounded in community. In the following weeks, every gift of time, talent, and treasure will grow as a leaf on the tree, reminding us how our commitments sustain EPC. On Dedication Sunday, October 26, we will celebrate every gift, dedicate our pledges, and rejoice in the harvest of generosity God brings through us.

This is more than a budget campaign. It is a visible reminder that because of you, we can…

  • September 7 – Rooted in Community
…welcome the new Faith Formation year, connect across generations at our Fall Fellowship event, and plant roots that will grow for years to come.
  • September 14 – Rooted in Generosity
…support our mission partners at EPC and extend God’s love to our neighbors.
  • September 21 – Rooted in Care
…visit the sick, pray for one another, and offer a safe, compassionate community.
  • September 28 – Rooted in Stewardship
…care for our sacred spaces and tend to God’s creation, ensuring EPC is a home for worship, mission, and community partners.
  • October 5 – Rooted in Christ’s Mission
…share Christ’s love in Elmhurst and around the world, serving “the least of these” with joy and hope.
  • October 12 – Rooted in Praise
…create music that lifts the spirit, offer worship that renews hearts, and give glory to God.
  • October 19 – Rooted in Faithful Planning
…support staff and ministries faithfully, use resources wisely, and plan boldly for the future.
  • October 26 – Rooted in Hope (Dedication Sunday)
…sustain this community of care and prayer, dedicate our pledges, and celebrate the fruit of our generosity.

Each Sunday in worship, our sermon series will follow these themes — helping us reflect on how God’s Word grounds us in generosity and guides us as disciples.
